As with any art fair, the venues can be overwhelmingly big and the entry fees can start adding up. But no need to break the bank in Miami, because there's plenty of beautiful art to be seen everywhere and loads of galleries to visit (and they're often free). Here's some stuff to see and do around town.

In addition to the luxury shops, and the murals (such as the one above by Gucci)-- check out contemporary art gallery White Cube who is launching a solo exhibit of Ghanaian visual artist, Ibrahim Mahama. The highlight of the show is a huge installation piece titled Non-Orientable Nkansa that is comprised of approximately 2,000 wooden shoeshine boxes. Accompanying the installation is a new selection of Jute sack paintings by Mahama. The exhibit will open this December 6 up until December 10 at the City View Garage in the Miami Design District.
